I know I haven't been around in a long while. Lots of crap going on.

Anyway I wanted to pass on that my email was hacked. I have control back but not before they sent out a mass email saying I as stuc in London and robbed at gunpoint. They also deleted all my contacts so unless I have an email from you in my inbox, I can't contact you personally.I'll post more later when I'm home from work

But I'll settle for hugging my modem. I've been without internet since I got home last Wednesday night. It was back on when I got home from work today....god, how I missed getting online. That better not happen again. Got lots to catch up on, and that's what I've been doing tonight.

Now it's time for bed, but you better believe I'll be online all weekend. Thank goodness the weekend is so close. Still lots to catch up on.

Got lots to post, but that will have to wait. Been watching a lot of shows this week, or at least downloading them and trying to watch them all before more start premiering. Not sure how I'm going to keep up with them all, and work. But I'll sve that for another post.

The purpose of this post is to let you all know that I've posted a Chapter 4 of our story Resistance.

(Click on the banner and the story will open in a new window)

Hope you all like the new chapter...and just a word of warning...the angst is kicking into high gear with this chapter.

And I'm looking forward to it. The leavs are starting to turn, it's darker much earlier in the morning and the evening, and there is a slight nip in the air. I love it.

Haven't done much this weekend. Was really tired yesterday and didn't get my ass out of bed til 1 pm. I never sleep that late anymore. Guess I really needed it. Of course, when you sleep that late, the day just flies by.

Been watching some new season premieres...after the 1st episode of the new Melrose place, I decided to skip it. I didn't think it was all that good. The original, so much better.

I have the 2nd episode of The Vampire Diaries sitting on my harddrive waiting for my attention, along with the season premiere of Fringe. I think I'll watch that next. I fell in love with Fringe last season, and thing Bones is a great lead in for it.

Loved the season premiere of Bones, and it did great in the ratings. Over 10 million tuned in. Loved the 2nd episode of Supernatural, but it was sad at the end. But this looks to be an exciting season. Is it true that it's the last?

Waiting for the Seahawks to come on TV - 1 pm. So in the meantime, I'm making a quiche and I'm bringing you the next chapter in our WWII story. Things are going to start getting really angsty now, and the road a bit bumpy for our boys. You can find the newest chapter
here. Looking forward to your comments.

Now off to throw some laundry into the washing machine. Wouldn't do anyone any good, especially me, not to have any clothes to wear to work tomorrow.

Just watched the series premiere of Legend of the Seeker. Never heard of this show before, but it was recommended to me when I put out a post at the beginning of the summer for new shows to watch. I really liked it...alot. I have Episodes 2 and 3 already downloaded, so I'll have to now download the rest.

I was so caught up watching it, that I never got around to responding to comments. I'll have to do that tomorrow night. It's 10:00 and part of my quest of getting more beauty rest is to go to bed on a work night before midnight. Oh to be young and in my 20's again.

Why can't the weekends be longer, or at least go by slower? Like my usualy sunday night, I had probably falling asleep, and didn't until about 1:30. That's fine for the weekend when I can sleep in, but not when I have to get up at 4:30/5:00 am to get ready for work. Going to be tired today. Means I'll have to try and get to bed a little earlier like I've been doing.

I'm must be getting old. Seems I need to be in bed by 10 on a work night now in order to be able to function the next day at work. I hate getting old.

But we have the Bones Season 5 premiere in 4 days, 3 if you don't count today (and I'm not, since the day has already started - lol).

Well gotta go and get all clean and pretty work work. Have a good day everyone.

Well my Seahawks kicks ass today -- 28 to 0 over the Rams. And while the Rams don't seem to be very good this year, I'll take the win. We have San Franciso next week. God, but I love football.

Now before I go to bed, I just wanted to point you all in the direction of my graphics journal. I just spent the last 3 hours making sidebar animations out of the current promos for the new season of Bones. I was able to find all of them over at YouTube.

You can find them here. Hope you all like them and feel free to take and use to your heart's content. I'm planning on making still/animated icons out of these promos also.

With that, I bid you all adieu for the night.

Time for some Sunday afternoon football. Off to watch the Seahawks play the St. Louis Ram...and I'm counting on them to beat them soundly.

Hope everyone had a great summer, and while it's not Fall yet, it's just around the corner. Mother Nature greeted us here in the PNW with the last foray of Summer I think. It was in the 80's this weekend, but today is supposed to be in the mid-70's. How how I wish I was at Qwest Field to watch this game. It's gorgeous outside.

Did some TV/DVD watching over the summer. I took requests earlier and what I watched was all 5 seasons of Boston Legal. Love, love, love the show. I also watched all 5 seasons of Top Chef....love it, am totally hooked on it. I got Season 1 of Raising the Bar from Netflix and watched it and thoroughly enjoyed it. I downloaded Season 2 and am all caught up. Also caught Season 1 of True Blood (loved it), and have watched some of Season 2, but I'm behind. Need to catch up on that one.

I have downloaded a few episodes of Merlin and Legend of the Seeker, but haven't watched them yet. I'm in the midst of watching Season 1 of Profiler (an oldy but a goody), and I have disc 1 of Season 1 of Primeval.

Now to go and watch some football....GO HAWKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do so love my Saturdays, and it's going to be a great weekend. Looks like Mother Nature is gracing us with a bit more summer. While it's getting darker in the mornings when I leave, and it's most certainly darker when I get home...it's been sunny since Thursday and heating up again. It was in the 80's yesterday and it's supposed to be the same today. Tomorrow is mid-70's. But earlier in the week it sure was feeling like fall. I got my fall jacket Tuesday and Thursday my winter coat, hat and gloves were delivered so I'm ready.

Watched some premieres this week - Supernatural and America's Next Top Model (one of my guilty pleasures). I thought Supernatural was very good and surprised me in quite a few places. While I'm not fangirly about this show like I am Angel (I don't visit boards/journals and don't read the fic), I still enjoy it alot.

As for new shows, I downloaded Vampire Diaries (not expecting much), the new Melrose Place, and Glee. Now I loved the original Melrose place and was surprised to hear they were redoing it like they did 90210. I tried watching the new 90210 last season, but I just couldn't get into it. Also, saw the initial preimier of Glee after the AI final earlier this year and I loved it.

Still looking forward to more new and old shows premiering next week....most especially Bones.

On the docket for you all today, I have Chapter 2 of our new story - Resistance. Our WWII drama. You can find it here in our fic journal. Hope you all like the newest installment.

Now to go get some breakfast. Slept in a bit today and my tummy is really hungry. Think I might make a quiche. I do love quiche.

I guess I kinda disappeared there for a while (July 27th was my last post). I kinda went into a bit of a hiatus from all things the internet. Lots has been going on at work (and not all good), so it's been a bit stressful, and when things get like that, I tend to become quite the little hermit. Haven't even done much in the way of writing or graphics either. I think I just needed some me time.

Things at work are still very much in a state of chaos, one of the doctors I work with left, and our program director (who I love) just announced he's stepping and and in fact is leaving for another job. On top of all that, we are starting to open up a new program. We currently do kidney & pancreas transplants, and now we are trying to get our liver transplant program up and running by July 2010.

But I'm back, and I'm sure I've missed lots of stuff. But I do bring with me some new Spangel. It's a story Lori and I have been working on since August 2007. Yep, you read that right. Been working on it for 2 years, and it's still not done. I posted the first chapter over at my fic journal. Hope you all like it.

I've also adopted 2 cats in the last couple of weeks, so I've been spending lots of time getting them aclimated to me and my apartment. I'll be sharing pics. Their names are Tucker (6 yo) and Toby (1.5 yo).

That's all for now. Going to peruse a bit of my friends' list to see what I've missed. Of course I won't be going back a month, so if I've missed anything good in the way of Spangel, please let me know where to go.
